Owner/Chef Stephane Ohayon originated from Nice, France where he grew up cooking French classics in his grandmother's kitchen. A big fan of Starsky and Hutch, he always dreamed of moving to the United States. Although he reached America with a Bachelor's degree in International Business, his command of the English language was lacking so he ended up doing what so many foreign nationals do - bussing tables to get by. The restaurant industry soon turned into a passion and after spending many years as the General Manager of several fine dining establishments, Stephane decided to open his own restaurant to contradict the stereotype that all French restaurants are expensive and pretentious.
Entre Nous ("Between Us") was designed with the concept of sharing in mind. Decorated with black & white images of Stephane's family, the goal of this French tapas and fondue restaurant is to delight guests with traditional southern French fare while encouraging them to branch out and try new things. In the South of France, food is intended to be enjoyed and each dining experience is meant to bring you closer to one another. At Entre Nous, whether you are sitting at the bar watching classic French movies play on the ceiling or laughing at a table with a group of friends, we hope that you leave here with that same feeling: life is about simple pleasures.
